SCHOOL LIBRARY

An effective school library enhances students’ learning outcomes by providing a range of programs, services, and resources which support teaching and learning. It also supports and encourages students’ reading experiences, and at Veda International School, we have a good collection of books (around 2500) covering a wide range of subjects and topics that cater to the academic and intellectual needs of the students.

HIGH TECH LABORATORIES

It is imperative for schools to have the latest and high-quality laboratories these days. Teaching and learning processes become effective when they involve seeing, handling, and manipulating real objects and materials. Children can retain the knowledge for longer when they experience and feel the experiments, research, and teaching in front of their eyes. When they observe various things and carry out different experiments, they start thinking deeply about those theories and concepts. The knowledge that kids attain in classrooms would be ineffectual unless they actually observe and understand the concept. Our school combines classroom teaching with laboratory experiments to ensure that students grasp each and every concept thoroughly.

COMPUTER LAB

In this age of Computer Technology, an early exposure to the basics of computers prepares the child for the future and also helps them to overcome any inhibitions they might have toward computer usage. The school has separate computer laboratories for children, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. It has excellent infrastructure in terms of hardware and software, which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers, and the curriculum. The school’s computer lab has a dedicated broadband Internet connection for students to make them familiar with the Modern Digital Age. It has qualified and committed teachers to teach different classes at different levels.

LANGUAGE LAB

Language is a medium of communication. Students from various cultures feel hard to learn English and its proficiency. The language lab is the solution and the need of the hour to learn the English language. The quality of language proficiency will be more when they learn it from the multimedia, digital, and computerized Language Lab. The study room is equipped with electronic sound-reproduction devices, enabling students to hear model pronunciations of foreign languages. The computer now fulfills all the needs of language education and gives life to language for our students.

COMPOSITE SCIENCE LAB

Science is not just different from other subjects; the entire process of doing science is different. The means by which knowledge is acquired in science is unlike history or mathematics or poetry. The answers to scientific questions are not found in a textbook or through pondering high and lofty thoughts. Discoveries made in science are done through the process of experimentation, which is performed in a laboratory, more commonly called a Science Laboratory. The role of the laboratory plays a key factor in understanding biology.

SOCIAL SCIENCE LAB

Man is a social animal, and to maintain relations between the people and the communities and their social customs, welfare, reforms, social laboratory methodology is widely used in experimentation. In Veda International School, we have a spacious laboratory to make students understand social fabric and custom. Group of subjects concerned with Social Science are taught through models, charts, and various modern techniques.

MATHS LAB

Mathematics Laboratory is a place where students can learn and explore mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts and theorems through a variety of hands-on activities using different materials. We have a state-of-the-art mathematics laboratory which offers Multiple Teaching and Learning Aids as well as a complete theme-based ambience to help visualize and feel mathematics. It provides an opportunity for students to understand, internalize, discover and verify the basic mathematical and geometrical concepts through concrete objects and situations.

MUSIC AND DANCE ROOM

The school realizes the aesthetic sensibilities amongst students and therefore, to cater to it, the school has a "Music and Dance Room" so that the students can pursue their hobbies in myriad fields such as music and dance.

SPORT AND FITNESS PROGRAMME

At Veda International School, we understand that physical education, experienced in a safe and supportive environment, fosters the children's physical development and well-being. The children learn the specific skills involved in playing different types of sports. VIS has a fully programmed of inter-school matches in football, tag rugby and athletics. Every student plays competitive sports fixtures. The high quality of teaching is reflected in the positive results against local schools.

TRANSPORT

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel, the school owns a fleet of Hi-tech designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. These air-conditioned buses are fitted with GPS technology to track their movements and to inform the parents about pick-up, drop-off and delays through Veda International School.
For supervision and monitoring, a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.
The Transport Service (optional) is operated by the school and a separate transport fee is charged for this. Parents who wish to avail the facility may contact the school authorities before the commencement of the new session.
